US-Präsident Donald Trump zeigte sich auf seiner Rückreise in die USA sehr zufrieden mit den in Peking erzielten Vereinbarungen. Im Anschluss kritisierte er die Regierung in Taiwan und stellte damit die Unterstützung der USA im Falle eines chinesischen Angriffs in Frage.
